The Adler Project Will Have Its Own Website

Fang Sheng

Oct 23, 2022

The Adler Project is relocating from its Facebook Page to its own website.

Fang Sheng, a professional translator, personal history researcher and writer, author of THE ADLER PROJECT, announces that he will launch a dedicated website by the end of 2022.

The Adler Project is Fang Sheng's dedication to the Jewish refugee musicians who left remarkable legacy for China's classical music during their exile in WWII, and to the Chinese students of these Jewish musicians. Fang Sheng's father, a former violinist of the China Central Philharmonic Society (today's China National Symphony), was one of those students.

Fang hopes to build the website into a hub of information about this part of history that is still obscure in main stream media. Fang will feature profiles of these Jewish musicians and their prominent students, as well as interviews with those who are still alive or their descendants. In the News section, Fang will share the latest findings or publications related to Jewish history in the Far East. Fang will also share personal but history photoes in the Gallery section.
