About the event
The Shanghai Media Group will host a premiere screening of "Jewish Melodies Left in Shanghai" at the Harmony Gold Theatre in Los Angeles. This documentary tells the moving story of Jewish Musicians in Shanghai during the period from 1920’s to 1940’s. They not only enriched Shanghai's cultural life, but left tremendous legacies in China through their students and compositions. The documentary will be aired on Shanghai TV documentary channel on 5 August.
